Congratulations. A proper caliber for DG hunt in Africa by a great manufacturer.

Might I suggest a buffalo hunt in Zimbabwe to bloody it? There were some offers from outfitters there on this site.

Indeed there are some great offers. I am looking into a hunt with Lin Stanton if he still has it available in September.

I am the new owner of this fine rifle! I stumbled across it just dreaming, and had to have it! I'm glad to hear others think it's nice as well.
That looked like a really nice build, price, never used, etc ..

I was apprehensive to post too much of it, in the event someone here was thinking about it ;
Congrats, Stunning Heym!

Gives you plenty of time to practice. One thing is that if you are interested putting a red dot on it, Heym does have the mount for Trijicon RMRs and you can get it (assuming in stock) directly from Heym USA. I use a 1 MOA dot on mine and it has worked great.

I talked with Chris earlier today, at Heym USA, about that very thing. Fortunately for me, I can drive to his storefront in about 30 minutes.

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
