Hi Everyone
I have a 8 x 57 S, CZ, Brno. I inherited the rifle from my dad who inherited it from his grandfather. The rifle has no visible rust and the stock has some character dings. I would like to determine the value and if there are any collectors that might be interested in it. Between my father and I the rifle has only fired about 50 shots in the past 40 years. Before I make any modifications to it I would rather sell it in its original state.

Thank you

Nice old BRNO Model 21 you have.
Friend has one in 6.5x57 and its a sweet little rifle.

Prewar Model 21, going by the lack of scope mounting grooves on the receiver. Nice small ring sporting rifle. Good to see that it still has the double set trigger.

Hennie, Please indicate the price and where you are located.

Hennie you can expect to get between R12-R15k for this rifle. (Based on last few that have sold at Classic Arms). There is also one at a local gun shop for a similar price which comes out of a BRNO collection. Model 21’s are very nice rifles to shoot. This is an excellent Bushveld gun . Yours is unscoped so please keep it that way!

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
