Got a 416 rigby in the mail. Want to catalog this journwy5

it will be fun! Keep us all informed. I found atuff all over the place. Raven Rock for brass and a few bullets, midsouth for bullets, reloading die set. I bought a Lee crimp die, but make sure your press can handle a larger threads. Redding and rcbs presses have a bushing in some models.

Saw some cool ammo pouches which reminded me of some leather working tools I was gifted a few years ago. Not gonna quit my day job haha.

those look like premium bullets to me , not plinkers, try some 350 gr Speer hot core for around $32 a box, much cheaper, it's what I use for plinking in my 416 Rem

Cant find those anywhere - the tsx's are the cheapest i can find.

Hey for a first go. Thats pretty good.
Not sure hownyou have it put together.
But if you wanted to straighten that up use it as a pattern just make special attention to laying out the holes.
But looks good

Yep, been planning out the next one instead of just start sewing leather together =)

Proof of concepts rarely turn out the way we want. I have some ideas for ammo boxes that im sure will be a cluster first 5 tries i try to make them

No idea =) this was sitting in my gun room for years

I got a mix bag of brass with the gun. Any opinions on what the best? Jamison, hornady or norma?

Its quite interesting the different heads on the brass. The Jamison brass is very square where the other 2 have some rounding (or whatever the real term is)
