I've been to South Africa three times (so far). My first trip in 2019 led to meeting a PH (warren Venter, @Bushcat Safaris) that became like a brother. That first trip was eye-opening for a fellow veteran and myself. After the first step into the African karoo, I immediately aspired to expose my family to this extraordinary country. The beautiful expanse of landscape, animals, people, history and culture left me awestruck. I returned four years later with my family and watched them fall in love and become entranced with a country that I'd continously think about and long to return to -now however, my two sons and wife also had the "African Bug". Warren and his family became our family. We celebrated birthdays, Easters, holidays with him and his family. The desire to explore and experience South Africa only intensified with every new place Warren showed us. My family and I are extremely grateful for the lifelong adventures we've experienced that we never knew existed. As a father, I couldn't be more appreciative of the memories Warren and South Africa has afforded all of us. The internal fire to return, experience and discover Africa is incessant.
One of my favorite things to see on this forum are pictures of other families experiencing African adventures together. The memories made are deeply personal and live a lifetime within our souls. Thank you Warren and Bushcat Safaris. We greatly look forward to seeing you soon.
