What is Your Nemesis Animal?

Do you have an animal species that is your nemesis?

One that you maybe have gone for multiple times and never could connect with. Or, you have gone for that species and have only gotten younger animals and would really like a nice mature representation of the species.
People.
You cant connect with them cause there the ipad generation.
They ruin everything. And they never seem to act mature in this day and age.
Lol

I have/had a huge, almost black coyote on the deer lease that openly taunted me. He seemed to know where property lines were (boldly posing on the adjacent ranch fence line) and how to ensure cattle would be behind him for added safety from a shot. He knew where my cameras were so he would pose and take selfies. He even took a dump beside my truck one evening when I was out hunting pigs. I felt like he was "Roadrunner" and I was "Wiley Coyote". I did not see him last year or this year.

Safe hunting

Blesbuck for me (and my wife). They always bunched up, never offering clear shorts, and caused quite a few headaches on our first trip.

Red Foxes as well, because they won't stop killing my chickens. I've killed four of them in the past year and they seem to keep replenishing.

Would love to see a photo that sounds like an interesting yote

Kri kri Ibex, of all things.

I would also just say drawing tags in Western states hasn't been the easiest route for me as well.

Right now leopard to finish my big five. Two 14 day hunts no luck.

Brown Bear - Zero for 3 trips, have yet to see a male bear

Bush Pig - zero on 15 trips, missed one shot

Baboon and bushpig are overdue for me.

People are stupid, and they suck.

If I had a dollar for every time I have said the above!!

Lame answer: whitetail.

I have shot plenty of them, but I have never shot a true quality representation. I have shot old ones that were busted up, I have had great ones duck the string, and I had to pass on a true monster after having already shot one buck in a one buck per day state.

On the bright side, someone shot the #1 buck in the county on the property I just bought, so fingers crossed - heading out today and tomorrow in hopes of getting one…

Pennsylvania mature whitetail bucks.
this! I own some land that I hunt in PA. I’ve only owned my property for a few years, I have multiple trail cameras up and I’ve never even caught a monster buck on camera.
Maryland is a different story, mature bucks are everywhere!!

Sadly I haven’t been to Africa to hunt, I’m kinda a “local hunter”. For me it’s wild turkey. I’ve only gotten two in the probably 20 years or so I’ve hunted them. I’ve called in several but they usually stay just out of range before leaving.

Do you mind me asking what auction you are referencing? I'm not in the market for any of those rifles...just curious.
