I just finished a safari and a trip of a lifetime with my wife completing the big 5 and dangerous 7!! All of this was done with Ernest Dyason with Spear Safaris and I can't thank him, his wife Marita and his son, Frank who is an amazing cameraman (look up his company Safari on Film). I started after a lion in Save Valley in Zimbabwe and was able to get a 7 year old tank of a lion as well as an exportable cow elephant which is the most aggressive animal I have ever encountered!! Also got a 58" Kudu, nice eland, old dagga boy buffalo and a very dark mature giraffe. From there we drove to North Limpopo to his camp there and let my wife do some hunting where she got a common duiker, nyala, impala, and a big waterbuck. I was able to get a blue wildebeest, zebra, steenbuck there as well. Our next journey took us to Northern Cape near Kimberly to hunt rhino that topped off big 5 and dangerous 7 for me and we got a magnificent old bull at @10 yards with my .500 double rifle. There my wife got a monster sable (48"), a roan, red hartebeest, black wildebeest, copper springbok, black springbok, common springbok, red lechwe, golden wildebeest, white blesbok, and a gemsbok. It was a 30 day adventure and a trip we will never forget. Thanks again to Ernest, Marita and Frank Dyason for making this truly amazing adventure so special!!
