One of my first Boars by myself 15yrs old he had been shot with shotguns & .22lr before!

Have shot hundreds since one of my favorites !

I really enjoy hunting hogs! I don’t very many opportunities. This gal was taken in 2019 with a heavy loaded 45colt. I put down a perfectly good 308 and finished the stalk and shot with my 45colt.
Yellow circle is the exit and red is the entrance.

Visiting old friends near Tsumeb in northeastern Namibia a few months ago. Henry hands me a rifle and says, “ shoot any pig that comes to my fields”

Rifle only had 3 rounds, or the pile would have been bigger

Back home… these SOBs need some lead

Negative, but as I am from the East Tennessee area, I'd like to know where that was taken from. There are quite a few outfits on the Cumberland Plateau that offer hunts. I'd like to know what I'm going for. No disrespect to the hunter.

Type A Mauser Sporter in 10.75x68mm built about 1933. It’s a honey and shoots so nicely.

I finally got a bushpig boar this year. 5 yard shot daylight tracking of all methods. Really exciting hunt.

Then I took my personal best warthog on same hunt. 16” in Uganda.

I never thought I would be a pig hunter. But I enjoyed chasing them so much in Zim and Northern Cape SA that I cannot imagine not hunting a big old bore if I get a chance.

Hunted this big boar in the Eastern Cape back in March with Game 4 Africa. A perfect first African animal too!

I hope to take a Bushpig on my safari next year and possibly another Warthog!

A UK Wild Boar is also high on my list, but proving tricky to find hunts for them
