I used .308 Oryx ammo this year on several animals, including giraffe, eland cow, wildebeest, I was very impressed with the results! Once you get this new ammo dialed in you'll have a super sweet setup!

I have some of those as well. But they will be fired out of my Ruger 1B, not the Rigby.

You could pick up some cheap Hornady to play with. Gordy’s had some for $50-60, headstamped 275 that I bought a few weeks ago.

I picked up 2 boxes of that. That’s the actual round Rigby uses on the test target with the open sights at 65 yards.
