BOW hunt Colorado unit 421 , went well this year , I accompanied my son as chief cook , camp security and met packer ,skinner this year., and he has truly surpassed the old man instructor. 2nd day out on the mountain in a public land unit ,in a new to him area he dropped a 6x7 at elevation 9660 ft. at 12 yds ,[bow]. Dark timber where the quads dont go. I helped pack out the meat about a mile down and out ,around lots of blow down and steep ., a real gasp for air adventure, from boy to man bowhunter 1995.jpg he's done great and outdone me hands down. 1995,

Awesome! Congrats.
But that looks like a lot of work.

Your son will treasure the memories and pictures long after you’re gone! Trust me as i have some very similar ones. Glad you got to be there to help out!

Congrats to your son!

And congratulations to you, if he has surpassed your best, to be able to come at it from a place of being proud, and not a place of jealousy and resentment.

That's a special memory to share.

Well done sir! Teaching the lad and being with him to help!

Absolutely outstanding! Congrats to both of you, and props for getting him outdoors.

Well done! Bitter sweet after the work is done!

Gnarly place to kill one and pack him out. Congratulations-one of my favorite things to do

Be careful of this Wolfen guy. 2 messages. Both trying to sell something. He PM'ed me trying to sell something and he PM'ed my friend on here trying to sell something. Fishy.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.
