I'll be spending three or four days in Calgary shortly. Are there any hunting related stops I should make during my free time?

Inquiring minds want to know.

If you are into trap and skeet try out the Calgary Firearms Center on the South side. Great place to spend an evening.
 
The times I was there for work, I always tried to make the drive drive west to visit Banff and Lake Louise. No hunting shops, but some of the most amazing places I've ever been.

Make sure your vehicle/phone has GPS. Calgary is not an easy place to negotiate for someone who's unfamiliar. Typical for a big city built around a meandering river.

Should be a number of Japanese restaurants there. An entertaining culinary experience.
 
Sadly, the "hunting" stores around here are about the same as anywhere. BOX: Cabelas, Basspro. Independent: Shooting Center, Proline Shooters, etc.
Others have already noted some of the touristy stuff to do around Calgary.

I've fished the Bow both above and below Calgary. Great fishing. If I had to make a choice, I'd go with the upper Bow as it was I caught my largest ever Brown trout.

A must do in Calgary is the Calgary indoor shooting centre.
You can hire handguns or rifles and have a ball at their indoor range.
My son and I had a real blast.

Head smashed in was very educational and a great insight into first nations life.
I also got to sit and watch some garter snakes okay in the garden. I was told that's very unusual to see.

As a young man i had some great hunting in the Calgary Honkytonks, Ranchmen's for instance. I always made sure i was loaded - and ready. A person had to be ready to face a charge on occasion in the rarer cases when things got rough, like when getting caught in a Stampede. It was prudent to be informed on the regional contagions. As for seeing the sights, beyond the obvious attractions of mountain-viewing in the Banff-Canmore corridor, it is of course the vastness of the west and really taking it in takes time. The Bow downstream of town is considered by some the greatest trout river on the continent.

Think of it like REI but generally without the China crap quality; $5 makes you a member of the Co-op for life.

Also stop by a pharmacy and buy a bottle of the cough syrup that actually works, you have to ask for it at the counter and generally limited to one bottle; same with the painkillers you can get a bottle of either aspirin or Tylenol with trace amounts of codeine.

Fishing from Canmore downstream on the Bow is also fantastic. There is a trout in every pocket formed by fallen trees.
