What knife are you carrying everyday right now?

For my main knife I prefer a 4-5" drop point fixed blade in a 1 o'clock Kydex slipsheath vs. a folder.
Due to local laws for knife carry, this may not be feasible for some. I do carry a folder as secondary, and also a multitool.

I am rather picky about steel: I like D2 and ATS-34 in the lower price range, and S30V elsewhere. There are harder steels than S30V, but they are more difficult to sharpen. The edge hardness range I like is 58-59 HRC, which nicely holds an edge without a propensity for chipping.
 
As usual, one of my prototypes. This will eventually be the Martial. Had a play around with some engraving on the blade while I was at it.

My EDC is the Opinel folder in stainless steel, from France. The #8 on top is the most popular. I also have the #7 and #6 sizes. I find that in most cases, I reach for the # 7 for EDC. These knives are economical, lightweight, simply designed, and dependable. If heavy duty tasks are at hand, I will typically carry the Spyderco PM3. It's a bit weighty but a real workhorse.

A Benchmade Griptilian, have carried one every day for almost 15 years, got the first the day I turned 15 :ROFLMAO:. I like them for opening boxes and other stuff, I will say that while not ideal, you can in fact cape out and cut up a mule deer with one should you forget your other knife.
 
Benchmade 940 Osborne has hung on my pocket for years. I sent it in for repair a couple of years ago and it turns out the blade was bent ( and I know exactly why). No questions asked and it showed up about a week later with the bent blade in an envelope and a new blade installed. I like that kind of warranty.

Opinels are great value for money, they’re like little razors.
 
Ok, got tired of always carrying a prototype, and thought it finally time again for me to carry a really nice knife. So heres my new daily

no, righty, but I like the knife in my left hand pocket with the blade side against the corner of the pocket, so the clip is designed for where I want it.
