Hello, I recently lucked in to buying a large “collection” of ammunition from a local guy who was liquidating his gun related items because he was moving abroad, I ended up purchasing a bunch of ammunition I needed and a lot I don’t need that I’m posting for sale here.

Some of it is Factory loaded ammunition and some others seem to be hand loaded but I am unsure.

Obviously use extreme caution on the suspected reloads as I personally have no way of verifying they are within safe specs, this goes without saying but I’m including it out of an abundance of caution, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I prefer Venmo for payment but a check is fine if you want to send one. If someone is buying multiple “lots” it would only be $10 shipping total, or better worded, $10 shipping per order going to the same address.

1. 2 boxes of 450 NE 3 1/4” Hornady 480grn DGS. $300 for the pair plus $10 shipping

2. 1 box of 458 Lott Hornady 500 grn DGX BONDED $150 plus $10 shipping

3. 50 rds of 375 Flanged Reeds Ammunition loaded with 270grn Hornady SP. I verified with Reeds that they don’t reload cases and that this is virgin brass ammunition. $400 plus $10 shipping.

4. 50 Rds suspected Handed loaded .416 Rigby Ammunition. Looks to be Barnes TSX bullets, unsure on grn weight. As said above do your own due diligence and use at your own risk. $350 plus $10 shipping

Forgot to mention, if the prices seem too high to yall please say something and I’ll adjust accordingly.

I have used the Reeds ammo in 375 flanged but with Barnes TSX. It goes for roughly $110 per 20 rounds.

I think you are taking a risk selling unknown reloads.
No. The purchaser is at no risk if using common sense. He should pound out the bullets and feed the powder to flower garden. The bullets and primed brass alone are worth the asking price. Hard to imagine anyone shooting these cartridges would not be capable of reloading them with his own recipe.

I have no use for them that’s why I put the full disclosure on the listing, I figured it would be ok for someone who wants the components at worst.

I completely understand it is a risk but again that’s why I put the full disclosure specifying the risks, I feel as if people here would have the experience to understand the needed caution. I’m not going to sell them at a gun show or anywhere else for those exact reason. I bought them fully knowing the risks and lack of information and am selling them as such to what I would consider informed buyers rather than some unlucky soul at a gun show who might not understand.

To just add more abundance of caution the 416 Rigby Ammunition is now considered being sold for components only.

Yeah I totally agree. Just because someone could buy these bullets new with a known history and not have to pound out the bullets and reload them with their own powder doesn’t mean this solid 15% discount isn’t worth it. I mean what does it matter if the seller kept the bullets in his humid shed or next to his heater or swapped them back and forth. Some people are going to get hung up on saying it’s not worth saving 15% to know a bullet is going to go bang when something is trying to kill you, but those are people who just have too much money. I say buy them all, and if you are worried just take them completely apart over a couple of weekends, buy all new components, and then rebuild the rounds along with your character. Just because it isn’t worth the time or money doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it.

I’ll combine both the 416 Rigby batches together, 78 loaded rounds, 21 fired brass for $475 plus $15 shipping. As stated above I’m selling them with the intention of the purchaser using them for components, not shooting as is, load data is unknown therefore cannot 100% verify if they are safe to shoot. Thanks

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.

Dan who is C. W. Richter? He seems to not be a fan of myself!
