Bertram 9.3x74R Brass Who Uses It

Folks needed some more cases and Norma is virtually unobtainable at the moment here...so I have ordered some Bertram.

Wondering if anyone knows the difference between this and Norma. My load with Norma is 63 gr of AR2209 behind the 286 Woodleigh and it shoots pretty good through the Chapuis.

Wondering what others loads are and their experiences and if they have made a change from Norma to Bertram did the load charge change much ?
 
I recently bought 100 Bertram 9.3x74R cases. I haven't loaded them yet but they look like good quality brass. There are a number of internet reports which suggest that Bertram brass is a bit brittle from the factory. This is probably just internet lore or leftover tales from the early days. The cases I received appear to have been annealed by the factory, however I put them through my annealer just to make sure. The brass does appear a little thicker than my previous brass (Winchester and Sako).

As with any major change of components, I'd recommend a few test loads starting 10% less powder and working up from there.

ps. By supporting a local manufacturer, we reduce our dependence on international supply chains.

In my experience this is correct. I alway anneal Bertram brass before I use it, otherwise you will get some split cases. Especially if you are wanting to form it.
 
Cases arrived look very well made.

Anyone have loads with 286gr bullets in Bertram cases they would like to share ?
