Hi Everyone

Just joined. I fish, wingshoot and hunt with a bit of wildlife photography as well. For wingshooting I have a 2-year old german drahthaar bitch, and my son has a lab retriever.

Shooting birds with a Beretta 686 12ga, for game I have a .222 and 30-06. Looking to get something in the 6.5/7mm range for flatter shooting.

Most recent kills were black wildebeest and bontebok. Have also taken kudu, blue wildebeest, gemsbok, impala, springbok, blesbok, mountain reedbuck, warthog and nyala.

Looking forward to contribute and learn.

Welcome. I'm also a wing shooting junkie. Probably nearing the final roundup though. My Fr Brittany is fifteen and Lab is eleven. Both still active but aging fast. Same with me, unfortunately. And I also shoot a 30-06. Surprised you don't feel the compulsion to bigger rather than smaller. Not that I think you're wrong, just surprised.
