I have went on to HEYMUSA 4 times and ordered a catalogue. I have written a letter to "Chris" 3 times in hopes of getting a catalogue and potentially ordering a rifle. I have heard nothing. What do you have to do to spend money with that company?
 
I’d recommend going to Dallas or Nashville and getting measured, paying 50% and waiting two years or so. The catalog is pretty much available on the website.

I am thinking I will go to a regional dealer for a fitting and order there.

Where is there a regional dealer these days?

Best way to reach Chris Sells is call him...and certainly far from fool proof. Its like some finding a perfect combination of patience, persistence and luck. Which is terribly unfortunate and inexcusable, and in no way an example of the company's quality or principles.

Hopefully one day we will see things improve. I can wholeheartedly say the rifles are worth it.

just curious why is it so hard to get ahold of the guy?
 
You can always come to Atlanta next year for the DSC convention.

Heym should be here again.

Or just give Double Gun Imports (Dallas) a call at (214) 606-2566 and request a catalog.

New England Custom Gun was the importer when I got mine many moons ago...

(Doubles are probably illegal up there now...)



They can be modified (by pulling both triggers) to fire two bullets at the same time!!!
 
Good luck on getting hold of him. The way he treats some people I’m surprised Hyem hasn’t fired him. The way I was insulted by him at DSC 2022, I sure have no respect for him!
 
I tried ordering a catalog off the website, no luck. I got Chris on the phone earlier this year and he spent a lot of time with me, he was on his cell phone. Maybe I got lucky. He said they have not updated the website in a while and the catalog requests from the website do not typically get a response. He said he is also responsible for that and it doesn't get any attention. At minimum Heym needs to hire a rep to help Chris manage and improve the service level. People that are paying for a premium product expect, and deserve, premium service. It comes with the territory and should be a given for the life of the rifle.
 
The USA is a massive market, what is Chris Sells thinking? Come to that, what is Heym thinking keeping him on? If you are over it Chris let someone with the enthusiasm and energy take Heym on, it is a great product that deserves the effort.
 
I asked Heym about becoming a distributor and linked this thread. This was their response.

Maybe those who have purchased a rifle are satisfied, but those who have attempted to purchase one definitely are not.
