Rare Hi-Standard Hi-Power Deluxe H-100 in 30-06. Uncommon rifle with a Husqvarna mauser action. Controlled round feed. Husqvarna made small ring/98 Mauser hybrid actions and put them into their 1640 sporter line of rifles. Hi-Standard bought actions from Husqvarna and then put their own barrels and stocks on them to be sold in the United states in the late 1950's and early 1960's.
The checkering is sharp and the stock is free of major defects. The bluing is mostly intact and the rifling looks good. It appears someone tried to remove the front sight at some point so there are some dents in it.
I purchased this rifle intending to tear it apart and build a custom gun but found other bare Husqvarna actions to use and feel bad destroying this piece of history.
