You seen how many get killed by trains.... not trying tobshed croc tears. But who cares.

Point is some of these could be prevented with controlled action (hunting/culling...)

Think 22k getting run over a year by trains is a bigger issue than the 30 to 50 per year from crocs.out of over a billion people 30-50 is tiny numbers.

Id be more concerned about the exctinction of Europeans and the attrocoties being currently commited against them.. but you know nothing like feeling bad for those who hate you..

yes, these are called magar or mugger crocodiles can grow to 11-12 feet long and are highly adaptable. and have the broadest snout of any living crocodile.

India is about 80% Hindu. As far as I know they don't hate us. Now radical Muslims on the other hand...

I worked with Indians, for last 15 years in Off shore.
I never felt any kind of animosity.

And if I showed them respect, I got nothing but respect in return.
And as a team leader, I've been invited to Indian weddings, etc... and that is an honor and respect being given this opportunity.
(You dont invite the enemy to your wedding)

At first, I was going to ignore your comment, but since you've made a claim that's simply not true, it deserves a response.

Saying Indians or Hindus are intolerant is factually wrong. India is the world's largest democracy and a secular nation with people of virtually every major religion living side by side. It's home to the second-largest Muslim population in the world, along with millions of Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis, Jews, and others who freely practice their faith.

I'm a Hindu. I went to a Christian missionary school and college, have visited churches, gurdwaras, temples, and mosques, and have always been welcomed. My own family is multicultural, so I'm speaking from experience, not assumptions.

And the idea that Indians hate Americans? That's nonsense. Americans travel, work, and do business in India every day and are generally treated with warmth and respect. Like any country, you'll find a few extremists or unpleasant individuals, but judging over a billion people by a handful of examples is ignorant.

If you're going to criticize a country or its people, at least base it on facts instead of stereotypes.

I am an American, and not an Indian at all. Over the years I have known and done business with many Indians. The last one was a teacher that I came to know well while we both worked in the prison system. I got to.know her pretty well. She was a good person and I liked her a lot. Your statements very much line up with my experience.

Poor kid. Helluva an ugly way to die.

The trains in India are a valid point.

While I don't disagree that your comment about the number of people getting killed by trains may be a bigger issue for India, I'm personally appalled that you would feel the need to publicly comment on here about "who cares" to the loss of life of a 12 year old to a man eating croc, would it have made a difference if this happened in Africa? If all you care to say is something this negative I wish you would just keep it to yourself versus polluting our great forum with such trash comments

Would not make a difference. All deaths are tragic. But the fact we all get to walk that direction puts it in the who cares catagory.

What makes your life in the cosmic cale worth more than say the steak im about to eat..

The difference is that boy didn’t climb on a dangerous train and he wasn’t raised and fed for your dinner plate.

As the son of a mortician & ER nurse, I’ve grown up neck deep in dark humor and having to laugh to keep from crying, but I’ve never in my life heard someone who deals with the aftermath of lost life ever say “who cares”……. Not once!

It's quite similar to Africa (w/ Nile Crocs) ~1,000 attacks per year (so there were 2 others that day, statistically) but 88% of Indian croc attacks are fatal and "only" 63% in Africa. The stats are in their favor, no matter what subspecies. And, so much for evolution! LOL Never an issue working with Indians, other than non-payment doing business with some Sikhs. I hired a great Indian-American engineer once upon a time. A true, highly-educated "English Gentleman" who went off to do even greater things! See something, say something! Some of the nicest (and highest-producing, and Reproducing people in the world!) They have spilled into the People's Republic of NJ...lol Great food when USDA FDA regulated! Over 65,000 babies born in India every day, so "they'll make more!" Now tell me what the BIG problem is in India! Hint: It's certainly NOT crocs. LOL
It's a "Feeling vs. Thinking" issue. -Briggs & Meyers (e.g. Reduce the human population, reduce the attacks.) And, in the end, it's natural selection in action...About a death per day via animal-vehicle collisions in America. I've hit 17 deer, 4 by motorcycle, and 1 bear. 2 deer lived as well as that big, fat black bastard! I did go after him with a pistol, thinking he'd certainly perish (but in the end, the only thing that did was $4,400 worth of my truck's front end parts.) LOL now
