180,000 signatures were recently submitted to the Colorado Secretary of State to put the Right to Hunt & Fish on the November ballot. Not a 100% cure but certainly can’t hurt if passed.

I really hope it gets on the ballot, but I have serious concerns regarding the validity of those 180,000 signatures when you read the fine print of the requirements. I live in South Denver and the closest location they were taking signatures was about a 20 min drive from me. Nobody was there the three times I tried to sign it.180,000 signatures were recently submitted to the Colorado Secretary of State to put the Right to Hunt & Fish on the November ballot. Recreation is the largest industry by GDP in Colorado and agriculture is number two. While skiing is the biggest part of recreation, hunting and fishing combined are bigger and more evenly spread across the state.A quick AI question resulted in this response: Colorado state law requires all petition signatures for citizen-initiated amendments to be signed in person with physical ink on paper petitions.
Also, according to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the revenue generated by hunting and fishing in the state…is $3.25 billion total includes both direct and indirect spending by residents and visiting sportspeople….
I may not be there currently but plan to return home someday…
