Elephant nearly killed us Hunting in botswana

I took it as i dont think its the one you just shot but looks alot like it wink wink lets get closer to find out........ o shit....... oops congrats you got "your" elephant from earlier.....
The park ranger interaction struck me on the wink wink conversation side. But i coukd just have a warped perspective based on life experiences. Not everytbings shades of gray
I didn't watch the whole video just the charge. Did he wound an elephant earlier? Before the charge they were pretty clearly saying it wasn't a shooter.

At 31m go to the video transcrips.
At 31 minutes they are just looking at a track and sending the trackers to find the bull. I don't see anywhere that they say they already shot one.

I got it to work and saw the charge. Am I missing something...the PH said it was only 30 pounds, and they are in Botswana for crying out loud and instead of immediately backing off they just stood there when the wind swirled and had to end up shooting it...am I missing something?
Not much of an elephant for Botswana

I did watched again the video by my smartphone e feel clearer were the first ph's shot has gone... in the middle of elephant 's eyes .It will feel u strange , but I have seen better trough my phone then my tv...I was watching maybe too much close...!

Do somebody of u know which rifle and caliber have used this PH ??

Yes the client shot. They also made clear in the ending conversation that they would be talking to the authorities and considering it a self defense kill not a trophy and they would be taking the ivory to the parks authorities.

Ah...that makes sense...you are saying he is just getting client used to being close to elephants and the wind swirled on him and then got the unexpected charge...it happens.
That happen to my father and I in Matesi in 1984 with Paul Huggins. There were three bulls in open ground with their backside to us. When they turned Paul saw the broken tusk on the largest bull. So we slowly started to back up, when that bull charged. We could not make to cover or the land rover. After several seconds (felt like minutes) of heated conversation between Paul and I my dad. They had not discussed in detail frontal charging brains shots. My dad and Paul fired and so did I. The bull spun and fell just outside a gimme putt from us. My father has hated elephants ever since, but come with me on my elephants only because he was allowed to carry a rifle.

Did the client even get a shot in? It looked to be a total PH kill.
yeah, you can hear the shot between the ph's and after his lost from his mag.

Client almost 2 shots...being a self defence shot agreed by national park guard,u could not pay a fee x this and u will have still your elephant hunting licence and u will pay your trophy fee one time harvested your elephant

That was exciting! Good story right there. And great video regardless of the situation.
