Good Gun Deals This Week

Gorgeous Rifle. I was tempted to pounce on it as well, but I currently own four .416's - plus the whole baby thing and saving money. Side not this is a terrible thread
Certainly undervalued. Thankfully, I never have bought guns simply because they were undervalued. If so, I would have more of a mess on my hands than I currently do.

Not sure how much interest there is in the non safari magnum actions, but a local shop has a CZ 550 .30-06 with original 1” CZ rings and an interesting ramp sight. $900

40 grains cordite (marked on barrel) corresponds to a 375 2 1/2". And yes Lee Speed managed the flanged ammo via the single stack magazine. Muzzle velocity is low around 1800-1900fps with a 270 grain bullet. Deer cartridge.

This is why i love yall. So many deep wells of knowledge to drink from. And doesnt cost me an eye.

I believe its the 375hh but rimmed

You're thinking of 375 Flanged H&H. That's a terrific cartridge, but this one isn't that one.

The 375 2-1/2" magnum was the British answer to the heavy for caliber "Brush calibers" that the Germans loved. 9x57, 9.3x57, 9.5x57.

The caliber in question is straight walled if memory serves me, which it rarely does.

I had a Mannlicher schoenauer in 375 2.5 and it was a belted cartridge with a case similar to a 240 Weatherby and as I understand was the first belted cartridge.
