Europe has a population of no less than 745 million people.
I ran a quick AI search and found that between 10,000 and 20,000 people die from heat-related causes in the U.S. every year.
The reported numbers in the U.S. are much, much lower.
Who cares about all your homeless people and those who can barely afford rent and electricity?
All in all, a truly stupid comparison.
You’re probably just bored.

Bit confused by this part.... :E Shrug:

Funny, I did the same and it said 1700 - 6500 heat related deaths in the U.S; it didn't specify if they were homeless or not. We have about 342 million people.

Ya know saying someone is a dick without knowing them really doesn't further any discussion. Yes Trump shows many signs of diskishness in public. It is interesting that the consensus of many that have had that same opinion then actually met the guy on a personal level have quite the opposite view; Bill Maher is a good example. Trump displays many distasteful traits publicly, and he may in fact be a dick, but all I've heard is that on a personal level he's actually pleasant. That's hearsay of course and largely depends on a persons definition of being a dick.
I think that if you're nice in private, but a dick in public, then that still counts as being a dick. Think of the opposite. Just because a serial killer is polite in public, doesn't negate the fact that he kills people in private.

Yes it is true... More europeans have died from heat in the last month than all US gun violence in 2025.

No we don't have elderly people dying from heat stroke by the thousands, because we are not so pretentious as to live without air conditioning; the concept of hospitals without air conditioning is flat out ignorance - Especially because the first public building in the world with air conditioning was the Royal Victoria hospital in Belfast 1903.

But then again as you said "it's mostly older people"..... so who cares, right?
How many Americans have died from lack of healthcare? How many have died because they were poor and couldn't afford to pay the capitalist machine? How many have died because they couldn't afford insulin? How many prisoners die because politicians don't want to pay for their healthcare needs? How about drug addicts being refused treatment? How many cops have I heard boasting about refusing to carry Narcan?

But then again, it's mostly the poor, indigent, drug addicts, and criminals....so who cares, right?

We could do this all day, spare us all the false outrage.

Tell us you're a Marxist without actually telling us you're a Marxist

This isn't even worth responding to.

Maybe your state. Texas has two hospitals just for those in prison. Prisoners get excellent medical care. Either from UTMB or Texas Tech. Even those in Jail receive care. Fact of the matter is we are all going to die, sometimes no matter what the physician does.

Narcan, don’t know any deputy sheriff’s that don’t have Narcan. In some cases more then one dose.

Please explain

Flew United from Shreveport to Houston, Lufthansa to FRA. 13 hour layover and then direct to WDH on Discover, which is Lufthansa. My rifles arrived but my checked bag didn’t. It took 10 days for Lufthansa to get me my bag, despite me having AirTags and telling them where in the FRA airport my bag was located.

On my return trip, with a 4 hour connection in FRA, my rifles didn’t get on the Houston flight. When I arrived in Houston, the Lufthansa representative at the baggage carousel said a bunch of bags didn’t make it and they would be on tomorrow’s flight. I asked if my bag (rifles) would be sent on a flight to Shreveport. The Lufthansa representative said yes and United would deliver it to my house.

I flew home on United. The next day, I watched the AirTag and my rifles were indeed heading to Houston. They arrived about 2pm on Sunday afternoon. Around 3pm, Lufthansa called me and said they couldn’t clear my rifles through customs and I needed to come to the Houston airport and clear them myself. So on Monday, I made the 200 mile drive to IAH, cleared my rifles and then drove 200 miles back home.

That’s my Lufthansa Frankfurt trip from hell. That’s why I would try to travel through Munich and avoid Frankfurt. Frankfurt supposedly has a well established bad reputation.

It looks like USMCA is on the way out as a trilateral agreement. Three bilateral agreements will probably end up as the replacement. Nothing will probably be happening immediately.

I spent 3 years of my life running in circles that had me in the presence of a POTUS and most of the major cabinet members at that time regularly. I’ve got a pretty good handle on politics at the highest level and how public vs private personas can differ..

I also know a variety of people that have spent time on every POTUS protection detail from Clinton forward. There’s little doubt in my mind about who the ones that are/were decent people vs the ones that are genuine shit bags of humans.

Dickish behavior whether genuine or put on for show is an indicator of being a dick. On more than one occasion Trump has been caught with a hot mic exhibiting dickish behavior, so all of it clearly isn’t just for show.

That said if what you’re getting at is that he treats his staff well, by all accounts that’s very likely true. I’ve heard from Marines at VMX-1 and USAF personnel at the 89th (both of those organizations directly service the White House) thst Trump treats military line personnel exceptionally well. I’ve also been told by USSS personnel that he has been highly respectful and kind to his assigned team. Melania is supposed to be an absolute angel to be around as well.

None of that however discounts being a dick to others, often for no apparent reason than he can be.

His reputation as a business leader spans more than 50 years.. his treatment of low level and mid level staff exceptionally well is well documented… him being an absolute ass with senior leaders both internal and external to his firm is also well documented…

Don’t read any of this wrong… at the most senior levels being a dick often is necessary… I run a mid market firm that works directly with the federal government… I’m pretty sure most of the senior leaders that work for me believe I can be an outrageously big dick at times… while at other times they likely think I’m a good guy…

Steve Jobs was known for a dynamic personality and was loved by many…

It’s also well documented that he was at the same time a huge dick to others… Kevin O’Leary in particular has gone on the record stating that jobs was a brilliant leader and brilliant innovator and beloved by staff…but a terrible monster and horrible human…

Both can and often are found in the same person..

Florida Republicans are notorious for letting people die, it's like a sport to them...."Prisoners started dying at record levels with death rates increasing from 35 to 40 a year to over 400 a year...."

"...That contract is a “cost-plus” model, which “does not encourage efficiency and appears to be the most expensive service delivery model".....This is from the REPUBLICAN legislature's own audit.

Gov. Rick Scott, the same one who oversaw the largest Medicare/Medicaid Insurance fraud in American history. Demanded that FL prison healthcare be privatized, despite ample evidence that it would not work. Surprise, Surprise, a fellow healthcare CEO who was Scott's friend got the contract. They eventually walked away from the contract because it did not work out.

Go search about the lady that had a C-section in prison and was denied pain meds, fun stuff.

In the end it actually cost the Taxpayers MORE money because of how screwed up things were done.

How many have you personally heard?

Ohio Sheriff says its “sucking the taxpayers dry."...At $40/dose. So much for the pro-life party.

Some wont even accept it when its donated to them for free.

Wow watching the various elections I am struck by how polarized the democratic and republican parties seem to be getting. Maybe it’s the problem with a two party system. One has to shoehorn all the various political stripes into two parties. I think the UK is facing the same evolution but they are branching out into new parties. Interesting times

I thought this was a very informative episode and a Biblically-sound perspective on the topics of Christian Zionism, Dispensationalism, and US/Israel relations (particularly with the Christian church in the U.S.).

Disclaimer - I am not historically a Tucker Carlson fan (especially back in his Feaux News days); but to give credit where credit is due, he has had a few really credible guests on recently discussing topics such as these.
