Gentleman I need an airline quality ,metal lockable Gun case 1 or 2 gun . prefer 2 , that old one in your garage you upgraded from might work. Thanks
Also still looking around for 375 h+h ammo for large plains game, eland size. DG BULLET OK.
Thanks

Check Ammoseek.com for ammo.

I love my Americase and highly recommend them if you come across one. There are lighter options out there for sure but I carried two rifles 12.5lbs and 10.5lbs and a hand made axe I picked up in Africa last year, no weight issues with airlines, etc. They are very robust. I have flown with a Pelican + two rifles many times with no problems as well. I would not hesitate to use either and with aluminum cases being tough to find, I would be just as happy using a Pelican. ToughPacs are great because you can put your guns in the soft case you will use on the truck and put them in the ToughPac with other items you are taking. Only draw back I had with ToughPac is having to unpack and drag all of it out in the airport for firearm inspection.

The metal ones are getting hard to find and expensive. If you watch scheels.com they have sales on pelican cases. I got my v800 case for at 20% off. A little less than $190 with free shipping. Don't forget the smaller box to put your ammo in too. That was last black friday sale.

I have a 2 gun Americase ( and wouldn’t think about replacing it though it’s very heavy) pelican seems like the most logical option if I had to replace it, the pelican ammunition totes and gun case are pretty easy to get on sale on eBay.

Kalispel is building aluminum cases

I have a used but very solid Cabelas aircraft aluminum case with the long rod locking system. It has wheels. It holds 2 rifles and has been to Africa several times. The foam is worn and cut up but you can have it for $50 plus shipping if you want it.
No idea where you are but UPS or USPS ships these without issue.

I have one like that (although mine's a 3-er), Mr. Dogcat1, which I got off e-Bay. I am fairly sure that mine is a rebadged Kalispel.

Mr. Payton, e-Bay is your friend.

IMO Boyt makes the best synthetic case, and its way more affordable than Pelican. The lock holes are re-enforced much better.

I like the aluminum cases too. I would have one if they were easier to find in a store and look at before buying.

Thank FOR all the info, IM happy to do business with DOGCAT1 on the case.
still open for any 375 h+ h

They are built like a tank yet no weight problem in the two I have in two safaries to RSA. Highly recommend

I had a Kalispell case about 25 years ago and sold it in 2012 when we moved into an RV to Travel, wish I could have kept it but just no room, sold it for 50.00 it was a very solid case you would really like it

I was lucky enough to on a hand thrown pigeon shooting team and have americase as a sponsor, unfortunately they don’t make gun cases anymore, this would be my 1st choice now Over a pelican if $ wasn’t a issue.

^^^^^ I see others agreeing Kalispel is a good choice ^^^^

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
