I just finished this for the first time, I was almost surprised how good it was!

His books are pretty fun. Alex Hawke is the lead character. My problem is that I keep finding more series that I want to read. I’ve got over a hundred books on my “to be read” shelf and am struggling to keep ahead.

This is a great series, he has a couple more. One is about the OSS and at least one more that I can’t remember. It just came to me, Brotherhood of War was another good series by him.
W. E. B Griffen lived in our small Alabama town. My wife has a cousin that was friends with him. I haven’t heard his name in a long while and don’t even know if he’s still alive.
William Butterworth is his actual name.

Also the Badge of Honor series about coming Philadelphia.

I can recommend Will Jordan (aka The Critical Drinker) and the Ryan Drake series. They are a bit hard to find.
 
Jade City by Fonda Lee. Fantastic so far if you like spec fic or fantasy.

I've read everything Griffin has written twice and am starting all over again. Being retired military I can relate to the Brotherhood of War and The Corps. Love the way he incorporates real people and events into his books. I'm a regular at my library.

Man I have read that book so many times I can almost recite it. I keep a copy in the glove box for if I get stuck out bush. You can just pick it up, open a page and start reading. its actually on Audible as well.

Pretty good read about some great game fields and of a time that can only be dreamed of these days.
 
Started reading "Warrior" by Capstick.
 
Just finished “dumbing us down” by John Taylor Gatto and just started his other book
“Weapons of Mass Instruction”
