The 22mm barrel makes it look like a little canon. I am having such fun planning the accessories:
A case with a spot for a second barrel to travel with to site.
A stout but short elephant hide carry bag for the back of the hunting vehicle.
A Blaser saddle mount with integral scope rings.
A 20mm decelerator pad.
A nice Els leather sling.
Fitting my Swarovski 1-6x24i EE.
What else?

We can certainly facilitate such a package.. Substituting the Z6i for the Z8i as the Z6 is discontinued, we come in just a touch over 12k for the complete rifle package.
Adding in a second barrel and optic for PG or Cats/Small antelope will put the package around 18-20k depending on choice of glass / barrel contour etc

Is that thread pitch correct? I've had TBAC tell me they do not recommend and will not support any use of 1/2x28 threaded adapters for magnum cartridges. The R8 barrels I've had threaded were all done at 9/16x24.

Also, any pics of the case? How many scopes fit in it? 2 as well?

Same question that I had regarding threading

Here is the case

The thread pitch is correct as far as I know - Std contour Blaser barrels don't have enough meat for 5/8x24 (typical thread pitch for anything larger than 223)
1/2x28 was chosen for ease of use on the US market, everyone reputable who makes suppressors makes mounting options for 5/8x24 and 1/2x28 - trying to find any other thread pitch is a hat toss and typically requires adapters, tolerance stacking, or custom work.

While 1/2x28 isn't used for anything larger than 223 usually, it is generally a barrel diameter question not a chambering question
Kimber threads all their barrels 7/16x28 for all chamberings
I have never seen a issue caused 1/2x28 threads on larger centerfire rifles personally

I wouldn't worry about the thread pitch unless you are doing some mad science tolerance stacking, modern suppressors and threading are much improved from the early 2000's - if you are using a QD muzzle device, red lock tight it in place same as usual

Thanks for that info. I will reach out to Thunder Beast Arms again to see if their position has changed from 2018 when they wrote "We have released a few of the 1/2x28 versions for only special and approved applications, which any magnum would not be."

I’m hoping you choose the steel receiver version for your 500J build. The added weight will greatly improve the joy of shooting it.

Hello Jake,

Thanks for the offer on AH!

A few questions for you Sir if you have time!

1. In your post the description of the selous barrels suggest the barrel has iron sights. When clicking on the hyper link the europitc page says the barrel does not have sights. Could you please clarify?

2. Do you need all of the money up front for the deposit?

3. What is the lead time for the 375 h&h with iron sights, either color?

Thanks in Advance!

Any wood stock options in the 375 H&H with sights?

No, these are package guns specifically with the pro 2.0 stock
I can sell you a wood stock with the package if you would like, would still be the cheapest way to get into a rifle like that new

The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
