Recently, I had purchased this great, unfired Safari Express for my upcoming return to Africa and had fired 12 rounds to start a "break-in" and a start on load development. Then, by chance, I ran across a complete Blaser set-up in .375 and .300WM that was too good to pass up. Reluctantly, I have decided to sell the Model 70. I really like this rifle, (especially the silky smooth chambering of this particular controlled round feed...it's the best one I've ever owned for sure)! Having owned the Blaser's before, I appreciate the ease of travel with them plus the ability to quickly switch barrels to accommodate terrain and various animals on quota. After several weeks of back and forth I am finally making the decision to let this sweet Mod. 70 go. I'm asking $2300 shipped and insured CONUS. I also have a couple of sets of Talley detachable 30mm rings I would make available at a good price if desired.

I just discovered that I only have one set of detachable rings (lows) and the same in a "fixed" version which would need the appropriate Model 70 Talley base.

If you're looking for a one-rifle solution for hunting virtually anywhere, this rifle and caliber is a great choice and it's no mystery that the Mod 70 controlled round feed has earned the "favorite rifle" status for so many of us over the years. With abundant choices in ammo and reloading components you can cleanly harvest small game as well as the largest as I have with my 375 H&H's over the years. I never want to be without one at my disposal. Most hunters agree that you can't have "too much gun" for large and dangerous game and larger calibers offer more killing power for sure. However, these are a great choice for the vast majority of hunting opportunities around the globe.

I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.

Hello,
I might be able to help you out depending on how many you need. I could probably spare 50-75 .285g A-Frames. They are factory pulls that look like new. Let me know if you are still looking,
Thanks,
Gary
