Good Gun Deals This Week

That is a beautiful rifle. I'd say, a pretty good deal too. It's also 9 months payment on my mortgage, so I'll let you guys have this one....this time.

I thought about that Rigby but pretty set on a 7x57 or 9.3x62

Yep. Its gorgeous, and it would do the job. However there is a very short caliber list on what I'd want a Highland Stalker in. I'd add 6.5x55 to that list of 7x57 and 9.3x62. Thoughts?

Takes a solid year or more to get evicted for foreclosure. The way I see it, you got at least a three month cushion. lol

You would be looking then at their Big Game not HS

I have too many guns I don't use, rather than a handful of nicer ones that I do use.

Me too. But if you break down my thought process
1 dg rifle
1 med/plains game rifle
1 med trainer
12ga
28ga
Ar15 varmits/self defence
2 22lr for small game/ teaching your kids.
If you went for rigby yourin somewhere im the 30k
If you went with chapuis classics for shotguns thats 10k
And say 2 grand for the ar and 22lrs.

Thats 42k roughly in 8 guns. Thats alot of cash outlay.
Not including sentimental guns that were givem to me.
But thats kinda direction my minds heading not specifically those guns but kinda that idea

Totally agree, and beyond my scope. I put Sako, Ruger(No1, and some other models that are older), and old Browning, Winchester, and CZ/BRNO in the nicer column for me. Unless something drastically changes, a 10K rifle is not in my future. That doesn't mean a nicer this or that isn't. Thanks for you input, Sir. I appreciate you!

Those are all solid choices. Its all the same idea. My main rifles a $500 bdl. Never gonna get rif of it. But im working the above direction in just de cluttering life. Like i think myself andnalot ofnother people just have alot of stuff. Id rather distil it to the essentials. Amd have more adventures less things

Again, I agree with your logic, Sir.

I firmly believe that we are taught that more stuff equals more fulfillment. That may be true for some, and God Bless them in their pursuits. I've come to the point where I step over all the stuff and think, "I paid what for that? I've never used that?" Truly first world problems. Hahaha! Bless my heart, right? Find happiness where you can, and don't take it for granted when you do!

Berlin mfg 1895 Mauser donor rifle for under $400

“Unmarked caliber” special lol, if I didn’t have a million other projects right now I’d buy it just for the action. There’s others for similar money but this already has the bent bolt.

You guys know me to never be crude, or unkempt. However, that stock reminds me of something I saw In a Swedish "documentary" based in 1976...

I think we all go through stages. 1. you learn to hunt in US usually white tail deer some elk and bear. Simple US guns will do Ruger or Remington $1200 guns come to mind. Then three things happen. 1. Income with life success rises. 2. Africa presents herself with the need for DG guns not needed in US. 3. Final stage quality brands trap you for both your DG and PG and suddenly PG guns average $16,000 and DR DG guns average $20-$25,000 and you step back and see how you have grown that will vary by person depending on what is important to them

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Good day, Slider.

Do you by any chance have any 500NE brass left that you are willing to part ways with?

Best regards,
Boela Bekker.
