Ottea Taxidermy here in my hometown of San Antonio did a phenomenal job on my taxidermy and I couldn’t be happier.

Kristen and the team were a pleasure to deal with and their pricing was the most economical I found for the level of product.

Gemsbok and Warthog from Namibia hunted with Otjiruze. The Gemsbok was on the last day after hunting hard for 4 days looking for a big mature bull! To finally get him was so rewarding. The Warthog was by chance. My PH and I were walking and caught this beautiful boar coming out of a den!

The Nyala was from South Africa (Limpopo) hunted with Infinito Safaris. Spot and stalk through some thick brush to 50 yards and made a great shot luckily.

Awesome stuff!

I often don’t like warthog mounts and think they are done poorly. Yours is really great and realistic. Really nice mount on the pig.

Great looking work!
Her husband is Nicky Traut, well know Namibian PH and son of Jamy Traut. She spends alot of time in Africa.

Does he now live in the US, or does he still PH in Namibia as well? Their page says her dad was also a taxidermist. Seems like a neat hunting family.

They will both be splitting time in their respective countries. And both still running their family business’s

Thats how she explained it to me. Only Time will tell I guess. She has a few talented taxidermist that work in her shop already.

NICE work! That Nyala is gorgeous! Gemsbok has long been on my bucket list, and I finally get to bring one home next year! Hoping my finished product looks as good as yours.
