I really have no use for a big bore outside of Africa, however, a medium bore might do well for me.

I have a 458 WM and it's not that pleasant to casually shoot.

Anybody have a 375 stashed away in the corner? Doesnt need to be a Kimber or Tikka.

Looking for a project more than anything. Needs bluing or stock refinishing. Would even be interested in a barreled action if priced appropriately.

I have a Sako l61 actioned custom for sale. It has an MPI fiberglass stock and a stainless steel barrel. Right now can’t remember if it’s 22” or 24”. If you’re interested send me your phone number or email and I can send pics. Also have a fair amount of factory ammo and reloading supplies. Really likes Triple Shocks and partitions.

Consider building a 404 Jeffery. I built one two years ago on standard length postwar Czech 98 Mauser. I did everything but put the barrel on and open the bolt face. I think I have about $2500 into it. 404 build is a bit easier than 375 because latter is longer cartridge and requires cutting into locking ring on receiver. Not anything that will compromise strength but just costs more. Recoil is comparable to 375. Ammo and components availability is improving.

I have a .375 H&H CZ 550 Safari Magnum.
It has metal pillars and Devcon bedding. Otherwise it's as left the factory.
Wooden straight comb stock in good to very good condition.
$1850 shipped.
Please send a direct message if interested.

Thanks for the responses guys.
I "accidentally" bought another rifle which is not a medium bore at all but was a fancy nancy, so I am going to suspend my search at this time.
Wife will skin me if I drop more money at this time.

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
