Who here has ever done so, and would you care to explain the process for those of us that are curious? Did it require a trip to London? What did you order and how long did it take?

I believe @Red Leg has Rigby rifle.

@Tanks would be a good one to comment given he ordered a new Rigby DR and selected everything then went to London for fitting

Mine is a Highland Stalker and thus not a "best" rifle by Rigby. Picking up the phone and calling them is where I would start. You can do the initial discussion of options and place the order over the phone. If you can afford a "best" by Rigby, then I certainly would travel to the UK for fitting - particularly a double rifle. For a bolt action, measurements other than LOP are less critical and could be provided to them.

Based on my trip to London in November the wait time for doubles is a solid 3 years and can be up to 5. It technically doesn’t require a trip to London, to buy a rifle, but if you are spending that much it is probably best to take one to get fitted.

They will fit you at a show such as SCI. No idea if they are coming to the Summer show that DSC is putting on but that may be convenient.

Gina and I went to London to be measured for our Anniversary set. It was cool but certainly not nessasary. We actually enjoyed a visit to H&H and especially a factory tour much more. And we wanted to take a trip to London and Ireland anyway so the rifle purchases were just the extra motivation;)

If you go to London and are putting your own scope on the rifle, take it with.

I've been to the Holland & Holland shop in London. It's in Mayfair near the Bentley and Rolex shops. That should tell you something.

I have a question about your scope. Is the Innomount an SR-to-Picatinny mount?

Just moving to DM. Yes, please ask your friend if he knows somebody who might be willing to support a persistent hunt in the snow.

Hi Paul,
This is Daniel from Mankazana Safaris.

I saw your post regarding a hunt in Africa. I am sure you have been bombarded with messages and replies from other outfitters, so I will keep this one quick.
I have a feeling we have exactly what you need for a first safari.
If you'd like to hear more, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Yours sincerely,
