Romanian government decided to open the bear hunting only for 2024 and 2025 hunting season. Is the last chance to get your exportable brown bear. Best time April-beginning of May and October-November Here are the conditions:
Brown bear hunting 2025
Price for organisation 1750 euros
INCLUDED:
• 3 days of hunting
• 4 nights accommodation (single occupancy) on full board basis excluding drinks
• All transport in hunting area 4x4
• Romanian hunting license
• Romanian hunting Insurance
• Preparing the papers for the export (customs declarations, etc)
NOT INCLUDED:
Trophy fees
Up to 400 CIC points….. 10000 euros
Above 400 CIC price is …10000 euros plus 80 euros/ 1 point
Wounded and not retrieved 7500 euros
• Flights to Romania
• Rental of the firearm 50 euros per day if necessary
• Shipping of trophies to your home address
• CITES for export 700 euros
• Drinks, extras and personal expenses
• Transfer from Bucharest international airport is 150€/ hunter/ one way
• Price for non hunter ……200 EUROS/day
• Extra day of hunting 500 euros
The success rate of this hunt is very high do to the population of the brown bears.

I hunted bears with Marius last fall. You definitely want to get in on this hunt.

There are a lot of bears in Romania. You see a lot, its very exciting and different than anything else in bear hunting. The food and accommodations are great, and unlike Alaska (which I love), Romania is also warm, dry and I did not see any helicopter-sized mosquitos for a whole week.

It's really a good hunt. Marius is a top tier outfitter and passionate bear hunter.

So to be clear, the moratorium on Brown Bear hunting will be reinstated after the 2025 hunting season ends?

This quota 2024 and 2025 was approved by the parlament and published in the law, nobody can attack!
Before 2016 quota was signed by ministry order. This can be assumed in the court by any other entity.

I hunted with Marius in 2022 and he is a true professional with a real focus on the hunting. Anyone taking this offer up is in for a great hunt. I'm really recommending Marius.

I`m with you on the size of the Alaska mosquitos, brother. I saw one carry off a bull moose to feed its mosquito cubs. True story.

Hunting brown bear with Marius in 2 weeks. Hornady 375 ruger ammo 270sp-rp. Romania allowed 20 rounds of ammo. Athlon Scope is 1-6×24mm. Marius is making it seamless. Get your 4457 form done by US Customs. Practice standing, sitting, and prone 50-100yds live fire as well as dry fire. Good luck to all Hunting.

Weight can vary but a bear over 400 CIC can be 250-300kg and skull around 55-60 CIC points. Under 400 CIC, is up to 200 kg and skull under 55 CIC.

This looks like an excellent bear hunt, completely different than Alaska. I have a friend who did this a few years ago, and in reading this I am envious! I'll get out there.
