    My favorite hunting rifle. Rem action, 26" Shilen barrel, Richards Micro fit Stock, Leopold VX-6, 3-18, illuminated in Norma Super 7x61, externally same as 7x61 Sharpe and Hart. 175 grains maybe 160

    That is the updated version Nils Kvale made ,he thinned the brass a little bit to make it 5 more grains of powder ,externally the same as 7x61 SH , And very close to 7mm Rem Mag he made it to be. But sad Rem took it out with their version.

    Good to hear the Kvale cartridges is around and enjoyed.

    Next trip planned to South Africa in 2025. Maybe Tiny 10. East cape for Kudu and Bush buck at the least. South Africa more hunt able species than anywhere except maybe Russia.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
