Unfired in the box.
Sauer 100 9.3x62
22" Barrel
Weight 6.5 lbs.
Magazine Capacity 5 rounds.

I ran a few cartridges through it and checked function, which is perfect. Very smooth feeding. Haven't mounted a scope or fired it though. Bought on impulse (as usual) so my loss is your gain!
I also have the following to go with it.
100- PPU 9.3X62 Brass Cases
50- 286gr Swift A Frame Bullets
1- Set of Lee loading dies.

Package $1050.00 plus shipping.
NO SALES TO CALIFORNIA.

For those wondering why I'm selling this without firing it. I was going to sell my Blaser R8 375 H&H/7mm Rem Mag, but decided to keep it. So I'm trying to move a few lower cost guns to offset the cost.
Absolutely nothing wrong with this Sauer 9.3x62. Will make someone a really nice rifle for hunting most anything.

Many AH members over the last few years have searched for a 9.3X62, and they are hard to find in the USA. I own one of these Sauer rifles in 8X57 and it has been a good hunting rifle for me here, and in Africa. A lot of value in the extras you have, am surprised that this rifle lasted even a day.........best of luck with the sale.....................FWB

Yes sir. These are definitely a good rifle for the money. If it doesn't sell, I'm going to use it for a deer and pig rifle here in Georgia. Should be enough gun! Lol!

I recently purchased a 9.3x62 barrel for my Blaser R8, my barrel cost more than this complete package! I was shooting it for the first time today with several 286 gn loads, it really was so accurate and recoil was very manageable. Wishing I would have purchased one many years ago. A great buy.

Yes it's a great caliber. Buffalo capable and low recoil in a 6.5lb rifle. What's not to like about that? Your R8 shouldn't be much heavier and equally as handy. I'm very impressed with the quality of the Sauer rifles for the money. They're said to have the same hammer forged barrels as the R8. This one feeds extremely smooth. It has dual ejectors too, which really does a good job with ejection.

@Luvthunt There are several reason you would not want to do that.
1. You would have to open the bolt face.
2. Gunsmith would have to remove the barrel and rechamber.
3. Magazine would require both lengthening and widening.
4. Feed rails would require work to get to feed well.

Not sure many gunsmiths would take on the project as it would cost more than the rifle cost new to convert. You would be better off starting with a magnum bolt face gun to start with.

It will get you a bit more velocity than the 9.3x62, but why as the x62 has been putting kritters on the ground for a well over a 100 years

Exactly. Just load 286 Swifts to 2400fps and hit the woods.

Genuinely shocked this hasn't been snapped up yet. I thought this would go in a day or two max.

This is a cheap and easy way to get started with a desirable but still somewhat rare caliber stateside. If anyone out there has been thinking about getting into a 9.3, grab this immediately and don't look back!
