GIVERS SHOULD PAY ATTENTION AS THAT JUST DOESNT SIT RIGHT WITH ME AT ALL AND IM GETTING READY TO THROW SOME MORE GEAR UP HERE TO PASS ON BUT IT WILL SAY THAT YOU MUST BE A MEMBER FOR AT LEAST A MONTH OR TWO AND MINIMUM POST COUNT OR ??? WILL REQUIRE A BIT MORE THOUGHT, BUT THE ABOVE MUELLER SCOPE WENT TO BRAND BRAND NOOB WITH 2 POSTS AND 6 DAYS MEMBER.

JUST THROWING THAT OUT THERE AND THATS WHAT IM GOING TO DO WHEN I POST GEAR HERE AGAIN. AND I HAD ZERO INTEREST IN THAT SCOPE, I JUST HAPPENED TO NOTICE THE SITUATION AND IT JUST DIDNT SEEM PROPER.

If he returns the favor and offers out something of use to another member, that's what this thread is about. Might be he's been lurking around for awhile and this finally brought him out of the shadows. Give him a chance, might be another hunter worth knowing. We'll see....

The .257 bullets are spoken for.

As a FNG here, I claimed a set of dies not knowing one had to post something in return. A couple old timers promptly informed me of the rules. To that I quickly posted something for the next guy.

Since one is putting up something for free, they should set the rules.
If having 20 posts (please, not a ridiculous amount) is important then state it clearly in your post.
If you want a female hunter or greenhorn to receive your gear, once again say so.

Midas8008 said he was a member a awhile back but hadn't, posted for a while and lost his password and had to comeback as a new member. I'm going to take him at his word, but I understand your concern and I'm with you., meanwhile has the 257 been spoken for

It doesn't matter to me the why of someone accepting an item offered here. What matters is that the item is paid forward as per the site instructions, that the recipient offer something of similar value to keep the site "going".

But I still would like to see a photo of those 150 grain .257" bullets.

I am amazed with the concern of everyone because I am a new member. I was a member years ago but my life got too busy and lost my login info. So just recently found the time to get back registered. ALL the pay it forward I have been a part of have been part of over the years were YOU DO YOU! There is no need for anyone to comment. EVEN if the person maybe is in some tough times I sure don't ever EXPECT someone to do something. That is their choice. This scope will be for my sons rifle and we will head this weekend to my office and gather items to pay forward. Seems their are always people with WAY too much free time that have the concern. Im happy to be back on the forum and look forward to all the great content. Thank you for providing such a great site!

Rob404---Thanks for everything you were great to chat with and my son was very excited but I will pass. Too much concern for some folks on here and that would ultimately make them feel better. Ill show my son the comments above and explain this to him. It will be a good learning lesson for him.

The scope is yours, find something to put up later

Roib404---sorry been at work all day. I pass on it. I would much rather see someone who has been a member for a while be able to get it. I will just buy a vortex for what I need. I appreciate all your correspondence...your a great guy!
It's unfortunate that you were subjected to an unwarranted gripe. This thread was set up to allow members to help others by passing on unused items that someone else could put to good use. MOST of the members understand that. Whether a new member claims something offered, or a member since the beginning claims it, shouldn't matter. At least the spirit of the thread says that to me. Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
