.375 H&H Magnum bullets : Light weight hunting bullets for longer hunting distances in the Kalahari

I will not use 230gr bullets....lightest I would use pg only is 260gr Accubond...I will not use that bullet on eland.

As mentioned before a premium 300gr bullet is all you need out to 300m

I agree IvW , I need to find a balance between accuracy shooting and recoil over longer hunting distances. I need at least to start doing a lot of shooting over longer ranges since I only do bushveld hunting shooting at 30meters to 80meters in the bush. With trees in abundance to shoot from...excellent shooting sticks (y) :ROFLMAO: these tree stems and branches make...

Walking the Kalahari will be an entirely different type of hunt, although I am currently fabricating some decent stable 4legs /quad shooting sticks I need to practice shooting off. Bench shooting will not be considered at all.

IvW the bullets I will be using have the advantage of supplying a practice bullet as well , shooting the same point of impact at the 250gn Perigrine bullets.

Gert did you go on your hunt? What bullet did you use, and what was your experience?

Back After a Long Time – Hello Again!

Hi everyone,

I’ve been a member since 2015 but haven’t been active since 2017. Life got busy, especially with building my second business. Still, I’ve kept my passion for hunting and followed things from afar. Now that I have more time, I’m excited to reconnect, contribute, and be part of the community again.

All the best,
ANDY

I'd like a bag of 100. I could actually pick it up since I'm in North Irving, but if you prefer, shipping it is fine.
