Someone had inquired regarding quality of beers (and craft beers) in Africa and many responded that the popular mass-produced beers in each country are already of superior quality to that in many other places. This piece on S. African craft breweries/distilleries popped up in my newsfeed this morning. Perhaps SAA will be serving some of these in the future, en route?... I myself have never, ever had a bad beer when in Africa!

Then you haven't tried this one yet. Manica is something of the national brew of Mozambique. Reminds me a little of your buddy's warm Lone Star from a can with a touch of backwash thrown in. Not sure what one should expect from a Portuguese colony that then became a Soviet client state. Maybe they should have tried port? About the only positive attribute that I have noticed is that it is wet. Somewhat the same way well water from a rusty pump is also wet.

But you are correct with respect to South Africa and Namibia. German and Dutch brewing is wired into the DNA.

I picture myself having to close off my nose and think about Wally Johnson's awesomeness to help get one down....Thx for the tip! LOL It's on the no-fly list now! Yeah-the Portuguese foods and wine are very good (here!) Fully agree w/ the German-Dutch-Brit beers that are mass produced in many S. african countries! It was me that previously and emphatically stated to stay clear of the brown liquids peddled in re-usable plastic 1L & 2L soda bottles off of bikes, out of trucks-in the cities!

Not sure your price range. Have a 375 H&H with a muzzle brake. Nice rifle only fired a few times. Also a Mossberg 375 Ruger its been used and shows a few hunts on it.
Two African Safaris Hunted South Africa both times,
9 game animals taken
Has anybody hunted with Phumba safari in steenbokpan south Africa?
