WANTED: Cape Buffalo Hunt Non-trophy Bull 2023

It's a long way off, but I'm starting to plan my next trip to Africa. I hunted plains game in Namibia in 2018, when I reached 50, and would like to hunt a Cape Buffalo bull when I get to 55.
I am relaxed about which country, as long as it is relatively accessible from the UK, but I am only interested in fair chase hunting; I want to work hard to get my animal. My wife will be coming along as an observer.
I'm willing to pay a deposit, and to make subsequent payments to help spread the cost. Happy to receive recommendations as well as details of cost and availability from outfitters. Thanks.

We can help you in the Caprivi of Namibia on a non export or export buffalo bull. Real, hard hunting for a fully mature hard bossed buffalo, out of arguably the best camps in the Caprivi. We specialise in shooting old past breeding bulls, not just the first buffalo you see...
Have a look at this post, to give you an idea of what kind of bulls we shoot on a non export tag.

Hi Kevin

Thanks for your comment and I agree with you.

It is important that we agree on the conservation contribution you as a hunter makes through hunting the government/ community concessions out side South Africa as well. The presence of hunters and Outfitter anti poaching initiatives is a huge deterrent and because hunters have tracks on the ground, huge areas are covered of the beaten track and that is where anti poaching become effective. The education of communities through the community meat and job projects, and explanation of sustainability is a huge contribution, just because the hunter enables the opportunity. This can be a long debate and we often find we are try to "educate" people who are actually on the same page, however I need to mention this, the "carbon footprint" of a hunting tourist is insignificant to that of most other tourist.

The key for GTA is that we meet the client expectation and tailor his/her safari to provide the optimum experience within available budget and applicable constraints.

I short, keep on hunting, you conserve your soul and nature.......and make your memories

Have a good day

Thank you for the replies; the UK Government is considering banning the import / export of hunting trophies. If this proposal becomes law, then I will not be able to bring anything home other than photographs and memories. An older bull with poor to average horns would be ideal, but anything better would probably be better left for another Hunter who won't face any export restrictions.
Im in the same ship as you mate with the looming ban. I think a community hunt would be the best thing for it. Namibia tend to offer many of them. Its amazing how fast they can strip down an animal of that size.

This noise on trophy import bans and the general pressure on hunting internationally is of great concern. Unfortunately not and easy subject to convince people who do not want to understand the dynamics and the integrated part hunting has played and still is playing in conserving the last wilderness areas and protect species which were on the brink of extinction. Important to make the memories and photo capture it.

You are welcome to contact us for options, both in Namibia and South Africa, on non trophy male buffalo.

Have a good day

I have always said that IF this stupid bobjaan kak (baboon shit) of an idea that has been pushed by the antis in the UK makes it through it wont stop me from going to Africa and taking part in management hunts. As you say its the hunt and the memories that are the "trophy"

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc
