We just finished with a hunt. This morning we were extremely lucky to have bow hunted a 7,5 inch Mountain Reedbuck that will score in the Top-10 if all goes well.

The hunt was very difficult with the wind that kept swirling and we got busted 3 times before the client got an arrow off and hit this beautiful animal at 41y.

You are persistent!

This one is on the list.....

Congrats! :)

I took a picture of this animal while I stalked with my bow last year.

Is it a Common Reedbuck?

Can't see it!

Congrats, that's a exceptional trophy!

Thats a nice trophy Fritz!
Now you made me take my mountain reedbuck down from the wall and measher it. Its longest horn are 19,4 cm. Would that be around 7,5 inches? Mine are shot with a rifle though.

That should be 7.6 inches

Do you see this photo?

Yes I can see it. That would be a common reedbuck, a beutiful animal and on my wishlist...;)
Looks like a fairly big one as well.

Nice photo of a Reedbuck. Not every day you see them open like that.

A 7,6 inch Mtn Reedbuck is great! Rifle or not. You can be proud.

Common and you caught him gawking a you.
Neat expression.

Very nice animal, congrats to you Fritz and your hunter.

He was just crossing a small opening towards me and stopped to look at some small Kudus when I took this first photo.

He was only about 20 meters away and I guess he heard the small click from the camera making him noticing me.
He didn't want to stay around after the second photo :)

I had turned the blitz off and sadly they became a bit blurred because of the low light.

Fine 7.5" Mountain Reedbuck. I was fortunate to collect a nice 7 3/8" x 7 3/8" Mountain Reedbuck this year in the Limpopo area of South Africa.

Congrats to your hunter and you Fritz for a fine animal.

Great Mountain Reedbuck Fritz! Especially with a bow! Well done!

Very nice, Fritz, congrats !

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
