Oh man I have been shooting one of these for about 15 years ish and it is my go to rifle for deer hunting and hog culling. It's a sweet shooting little gun. I can highly recommend this model if it shoots anything like mine. Mine will do 1/2-3/4 inch 3 shot groups at 100 yds with privi partisan 165grainers.

Now you show me this after I already got my granddaughter a 7mm-08! Thanks a lot Toby!:D:ROFLMAO::LOL:
Is this new enough to have the threaded barrel? Nope, I managed to save the picture and blow it up.

I was getting around 3/4"-1" groups with Winchester 150 Grain Power Point factory loads. Hate to sell it, but this will help me pay for my Cape buffalo this year.

No threads. This would make a great kids rifle, other than the recoil may be a little stout for a smaller kid. But, with the straight stock, it's pretty manageable for an adult.

I had a fancy Kimber Classic in 308 that shot very tight groups. I almost ruined it on an Alaska black bear hunt. This one would have been much better! These are excellent for hunting the mountains of Colorado!

You’ve got me thinking of another buffalo! Thanks a lot pal!

Fyi if you thread it the profile is thin enough to require an adapter. Mine has a can on it.

Yes. The newer ones come threaded. I have a 30 cal can as well. I use it on a CZ 300 Blackout and TC Contender 30/30 carbine..
I plan to use a 375 H&H for Eland and some other PG. May use it on Buffalo as well, if I don't bring along a 416.

The 308 and your Talkeetna are a great Africa pair IMO!

It’s like a middle eastern bazaar over there!

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
