Your top 3 double rifle brands

At the first of the year I will post about the upcoming Alaska double rifle shoot. May 4 and all here are welcome to attend. You can shoot any and all of the 50+ doubles there, a machine gun or two, howdah pistols, and we'll even feed you lunch.
Cal

It's worth flying over from the UK for that

Current in descending order Verney Carron, Chapuis, SAICE, Zoli, Rizinni, Merkel, Sabatti and a POS remington/russian bakail. would hunt Africa of anywhere else in the world with all; but the POS, it is good for paper, hogs and a canoe paddle.
Any opinion on Krieghoff & Heym and where (or if) they would fall on your list?
I'm kinda leaning toward Krieghoff and I like the way their "Combi-Cocking Device" works.
Like to hear your thoughts on the combi-cocking device as well.
There is nothing English style out of a Merkel or the older Heyms. There is a new Heym that is English styled...a first for a non-British double rifle.
Thank you sir.

No love for the Greener’s?
No offense meant, but I had never heard of them until you mentioned it.
I looked them up and it appears that they do make double rifles, but mostly English SxS shotguns.
They don't show any specs for ANY of their firearms on the web, which means if I have to ask...I can not afford.

I was thinking both new and vintage you would consider. I’m not sure if Greener is currently building rifles. I bought my first double a few months ago. A Greener top lever in 577 BPE. The experience has been a blast. The accumulation of all the stuff to go with it, load development and such. Good luck.

The accumulation of all the stuff to go with it

This is exactly what I don't want, but could be unavoidable in this case.
I have enough gun "stuff" laying around that I don't feel like having to explain to the missus why it is that I need more.
However the reloading and load development idea I believe is a good investment.
See how it goes.

Thank you.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
