Is anyone else getting these scam offers? Two from "dianne" looks to be offering a hunt.
These are the two conversations I received in my inbox.

#1: I noticed you are on a lot of websites, i was wondering if u know anyone looking for a safari, s africa or new zeland

#2 i have received these for a live auction for a church, but i dont think they can really put something like this up put the prize is very much appreciated......worth a lot of money

When they don't write in the King's English, it's a dead giveaway. It's a never ending battle with these guys.
 
At least she was offering hunts...........
 
Her age showed 67, not sure I would want anything other than a hunt that she would be offering
 
Yep as I organise hunts they are emailing me ..we want to hunt tell us where how much and when we can go ...we are from xxx Arab country and etc etc
 
Should I be offended that she hasn’t reached out to me?!?! Lol..... maybe you should feel flattered. She could be flirting with you!

Hate to admit it, but I got scammed out of US$15K back in 2011. Two months before going on an SA buffalo hunt with my son, I was severely injured saving the life of my colleague. PH suggested to defer, whilst I recovered. But 6mths into recovery I emailed the PH - he had disappeared!! Took me 4 years to find him and get him convicted of fraud by the Specialised Commercial Crime Unit in Pretoria. The bastard's now appealing the decision!! The bastard even went as far to have a legitimate (bogus!) site with SCI and PHASA logos, testimonials from the US and elsewhere, price lists, photos etc etc - everything a GENUINE outfitter has on their site - so BE CAREFUL!!

Purely FYI as an addendum, at the time I asked PHASA - as the industry's regulating body - if they do anything to stop/police against bogus "PHs" scammimg clients, since this would seriously damage SA's reputation. Their response was basically they don't do anything at all. I found their apathy surpring and replied that as a nurse, if I did anything wrong in my industry my governing regulatory body would kick my ass!! (And they also police the industry as well). In short I opined they gladly pull PH registration fees, yet admit do nothing to protect the industry against scammers. Sad that both the SA industry and clients are plagued by this unrestrained criminal activity.

In my research to convict the bastard who scammed me, I located and contacted 2 other victims scammed by the same bastard (one being a bona fide PH). A 3rd victim I was told about, is connected to the mafia. So maybe justice will yet prevail?

Again, just my 2 cents......

One really good tool to help ensure that he don’t scam anyone else is to make his name, outfit, and your story public world wide on AH.... Just saying....
 
I have thought about that, but in which area in AH to post it? I haven't found a heading/section under which to post this up. Any suggestions?

Post it under “Hunt Reports” and @BRICKBURN or @AfricaHunting.com will move it for you if they think it should be somewhere else.

Recently scammed of bulk dollars (in the hands of my Bank, and Police); this has killed any chance of a return to Africa and/or the SCI convention in Dallas next year..... Dang it. Tempted to nominate to attend the AH get together on the off-chance I can get there..... Better make up my mind, and soon....
