Ok so as I'm sitting here in the dark due to widespread power outages I have to laugh. This is the actual weather advisory map for the state. I'm up in the blizzard warning portion but I'm pretty sure here in Texas we have the bases covered for extreme weather. Lol

But hey at least we have a nice steady breeze going.

I think you have it covered for Texas.
That's a weather front..... or two.

Wind is picking up. It's sustained at about 40mph with gusts to 60. Power is still out.

I've been all over west Texas.....that's just a stiff breeze! :D

Spent a couple of hours last night in a very small closet with three labrador retrievers and one cat while tornado went west of us by a couple of miles. After further evaluation not sure where the safer location would have been in the closet with the cat or in the yard with the tornado.

Roof is still on the house there are a bunch of people here in DFW that can't say the same. Its all part of the adventure known as TEXAS.

Stay warm Gizmo(y)

On the map it looks like Deep South Texas is slacking. We all ought to go there and hunt some senderos for some Muy Grande Bucks. :P Elmer Fudd:

Hey buddy, you should come up to New York we had a balmy 69 degrees on Christmas Day. Somehow our weather patterns switched! Thanks. I owe you one! Lol

Was reading the sports online today, catching up on the college football bowl games. Saw where the Sun Bowl in El Paso was played yesterday in a bit of a blizzard. I'm sure that made the Washington State fans and team feel right at home, but the Miami folks probably didn't know what to make of it.

I saw that game. Playing in weather like that is a blast if you are winning. :A Banana:If you are losing there is nothing more miserable. :E Cold:Been on both sides of that ball.:E Crazy:

Hi Joshlee0518 (please let me know if you are fine being addressed like that),

Thought I would drop you a PM. It is super exciting to plan a hunt and we are more than happy to assist you. Have you given any thought yet to which species you would like to take?

What do you hunt usually and which weapons/calibers are you using?

Look forward to swapping experiences and ideas.

Happy hunting - Daniel

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)
