I am headed back to Namibia late April 2015. Last year I used Gracy Travel's ticketing and meet/greet services as well as pre approved SAPS, and stayed at City Lodge in the JB airport. All went well. However, in the spirit of trying something different, I am booked at AfricaSky Guesthouse in Johannesburg for April 22. I will also use their meet and greet, SAPS, full service deal. Questions please if you don't mind:

1. Did the meet/greet service go well?
2. Do they make sure you get through check in the next morning for connecting flight?
3. Where does the representative meet you...when you exit plane or at the general greeting area?
4. How were accomodations at Africa Sky? Was the meal good?
5. Did you feel safe during your stay there?
6. Do you have the option of keeping your rifle in your room with you?

Any other pertinent info or thoughts will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Howdy JG,

1) Yes!
2) Yes!
3) as you come out of terminal en route to gun counter

5) absolutely.... Like a resort.
6) I think so.... Don't recall anything ever being out of my sight.

Enjoy! I did.

If you've stayed with Afton in the past, Africa Sky is in the same neighborhood. There will always be a soft spot in my heart for Annaliese at Afton for the help she gave me when my first safari was turning to crap. But Africa Sky takes it to another notch from all I've known who have been to both. And for basically the same price.

We refer all our clients, such as BWH to Africa Sky. I don't think you could go wrong with them JG.

JGRaider,
Africa Sky guest house is a top notch operation. As BWH said, they will meet all of your needs and expectations. We use both Africa Sky and the Afton guest house to host our clients, and they both provide an excellent service and comfortable accommodations.

Africa Sky is somewhat more expensive per night than the Afton, but they have a bigger property, and the rooms are a bit nicer. They are also more separated and private. You will be pleased with them....

+1 I have stayed at both and enjoyed both. I have to admit though the African Sky will get any return visit. I also used their pre SAPs service and it too was flawless.

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
