@Tanks yes that would bother me too regardless of who the PH was and no matter the circumstances (unless I was hanging off the Buffs horn). But many PHs put their bullet into a clients Buff and sometimes finish it off for safety or other reasons. I’d share a campfire with Sullivan and hunt with him too —- wouldn’t be boring and if I didn’t like it ——wouldn’t do it again.

He did shoot the first buffalo square in the guts, so that backup was warranted.

As usual the client wasn't very proficient with a double...

I’d have no issues if the buff headed towards us. But in these cases they did not. I prefer a double lung shot on my buffalo, which means they might run some. I would not want my PH to follow up. I am definitely telling my PH in my upcoming hunt that.

@Tanks - Agree, many shots were “almost” simultaneous with PH shooting split second after Client, as a Client - I’d want a reasonable chance to kill my Buff Unassisted….unless it was charging Us or my first shots “sucked”

Different kind of PH, different kind of client, it had it all, bad shooting by the client, shooting from the truck, quick ph follow up shots. I’ve always liked Mark, talked to him at shows a few times. After doing a handful of safaris with really good ph’s, he wouldn’t be my first choice for a safari at this point of my life, nothing against him as a person. More than anything I wasn’t a fan of the music.

Pay for 21 day full bag Tanzania safari, charter of a Caravan and the PH does the killing. He could have just stayed home, have a video WhatsApp call, tell the PH to shoot and then just ship them home for his "wall of death."

I always remember his first video I bought. Was captivated by the footage, then he shot a hippo with client and said "our bullets overlapped into the same hole"

I was like WHAT??? you shot the hippo and can hear a single shot. I was so confused by that, the rest of it started to fall into place and I was like what am I watching

Watch the video starting at 23:00. The client using a bolt action with a scope required four shots to drop a zebra standing broadside.

Honestly, if it was any other PH in that scenario knowing the client is struggling with shooting skills about to attempt a shot on a buff in an area with heavy cover, would they make a quick followup shot or let the buff run into heavy cover?
