I should have specified good 225-250gr hunting ammo. No Hornady leverevolution junk. The model 71 guys will know what I’m looking for. Thanks tho!

The Hornady stuff shoots too high for the sights on mine too. The 250 grain Barnes original pushed by a modest load of 4451 to 2200 fps solves the problem nicely.

220 to 250gr silver tips are hard to come by.
Anything in that range is mostly to be hand loaded. I think i have 200gr silver tip ammo but no way of shipping from where i am as ups closed their customer service centers here.

It's not ammo but I have some 348 brass that I got for forming into another size, that I no longer use, if you are interested in handloading it.
