Elephant 12 Day Trophy Hunt Available 2025 All Inclusive US$18,500

I took Tokoloshe Safaris up on this offer. I had a wonderful experience hunting with Mike, Sean and Liesl. We ended up with a 30 to 35 lb. bull on day 6. We moved from the forest camp to the lake lodge and I shot a nice old female hippo and a really big hyena. Spent last 3 days at the lodge fishing. Caught a bunch of different types of fish including a 4 foot long (approx. 45 lbs.) Vundu, or giant Zambezi catfish. The water was way too muddy due to rains to do any good on tiger fish, although we did catch a few small ones. last day was spent going to see Victoria Falls. I cannot recommend these folks enough!

Awesome. Any pictures of your elephant you can share?

I’m very happy for the hunter. I was so close to doing this hunt w/ @Tokoloshe Safaris that I was sick when it became apparent that it was impossible for me and my wife with the move we were in the middle of.

Super nice bull. Congratulations.

If my left foot wasn't in a walking boot I'd have taken this hunt. To each his own, but to me - it's more about the hunt than the size of the tusks. My last elephant hunt, I picked the oldest, worn out old bull we could find. One of his tusks was broken, it didn't matter.

Nice bull, congratulations

Franco, I agree with you totally about tusk size. As you can see his left tusk was worn and the right tip had been broken at some time in the past. When we began hunting, Mike asked me what my requirements were. I told him an adult male elephant. Tusk size was irrelevant. Suffice it to say I was very pleasantly surprised.

Good for you and my compliments on your decision. Well done sir.

When I saw the deal headline in the New Post, I instantly thought this must be a small exportable trophy (20 pounds). Hey, this is in my price range.

To me this is a trophy but maybe not to the person who can afford a $50,000 hunt for big tuskers. But for a person with my income, it is a trophy of a lifetime.

The ideal of a "trophy" is different for each individual. With this being an exportable elephant, it is a great opportunity for someone. If I had not spent all my money in Spain and going to Namibia next year, I would jump on this "Trophy" hunt.

Thanks Lon & Liesl for offering this great opportunity! Wish it was me coming on this adventure!
Im in the same boat i know ill only ever get 1 chance prolly in my life for an elephant. Having something to take home for a reasonable price is a great thing.

First step getting a good dg rifle.

Outstanding. I also was trying to make this work. Glad to see it went to an AH’er. Again nice job, Sir.

Congrats!!! Well done!!

Fantastic result! What a tremendous elephant. My bull has smaller tusks, but even still, everyone is surprised at how dense and heavy they are to handle. I cannot look at them without being taken right back to the mopane forest. Ivory is a tremendous trophy that is tough to beat, and the memories of that hunt will never leave you.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob
