Proper Gin and Tonic

My go to is Tanqueray, fresh lime and regular store brand tonic water.
About two ounces of gin, 1/4 slice of lime - squeezed into the gin and dropped in - add ice and finish with the tonic water so I'd guess that would be about 2-3oz of that.
Give a little stir with a knife or whatever is handy and enjoy!

Last year when I was in Mumbai the bar at the Taj Mahal Palace served Sepoy Indian Tonic Water. So far unable to locate in the USA.

This is not my go to, but if you’ve read Ruark you’ve heard of “pink gin.” This is my interpretation:

In a whiskey glass, fill a quarter full of cubed ice, then fill another quarter full with crushed ice (that’s half full, for those of you in Rio Linda).
Add bout [emoji640]+ oz gin
Top with HEB lime mineral water OR your preferred tonic water
Garnish with lime wedge

Lemon not lime for me  :D Cheers:

G&T
2 parts boodles gin
1 part fever tree
.5 part Campari
Over medium cubes and stir

Favorite gin drink
2 parts Citadelle or Bluecoat gin
1 part lillet blanc
Shake with ice serve up in a chilled cocktail glass

Hendricks (the hell with the slice of cucumber)
Fever Tree tonic
Slice of lime
Use to do the dash of bitters but grew out of it.

The app is giving me fits, but this is supposed to read four ounces gin and as many dashes of bitters before the tonic hits.

About a half century ago at the bar in the O-Club at the ANZUK base in Singapore the standard T&T used a haif a lime squeezed in the glass. If you wanted a "double" you got the whole lime. Delicious!!!! JM

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
