@steve white not wrong, no one dares to be so different as the Ferlach guys. .700 nitro bolt actions, 3 barrel 700 nitros, double barrel bolt actions (I think they’re Ferlach?)
Should probably add these to save when it’s sold:

Interesting combo. Be handy for if that trophy popped up while dangerous game hunting, but I guess the .416 Rigby could take care of that anyway.

I really wonder how it is regulated?

My drilling with the 22 Hornet insert in one barrel, 16 gauge shotgun of course is no problem on the other side. And 7x65R underneath.

I find it really challenging to find small game standing at the correct ranges all the time;)

Larger, even mod sized game allows for a bitvof deviation. However a smaller critter that one wants to use the 22 Hornet on can be challenging.

You should be able to adjust the Hornet to the sight picture of the scope when it is sighted for the 7x65R. Then put a witness mark on the drilling and Hornet extractor to insure you install it the same each time.

Yes, the insert can be rotated on an eccentric to move the poi. J.J. regulated it for me.

But there is so much difference in the Hornet and 7mm drop that it is very difficult to keep track of holdover at various ranges.

Really cool setup. Just not very practical when out hunting. I think a standard drilling with shotgun barrels over a rifle is much more practical.

I do not have a Hornet insert, so have never been tempted to use one beyond about seventy yards. Mine are all either 22 LR or 22 Mag and those regulate beautifully to the drillings in which they are used to that more limited range. Between Germany and the States, I would guess the mag has taken three or four dozen foxes and four coyotes off the place here in Texas.

Are they full length inserts or the shorter versions?

@Certus
Imagine the hassle the poor bloke had regulating all those barrels. I wonder how much hair he has left after he finished pulling it out doing the regulation.

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
