Great american outdoors show

We're going this year. Our last visit was 2021 and my wife came down with Covid which which she swears she got at the show. Luckily it was a very mild case. We're going again to catch up with some outfitters we've used in the past and maybe book a hunt for the fall of this year. Hopefully all we have to worry about is spending too much money LOL!

The great american outdoors show. Whos going? https://www.greatamericanoutdoorshow.org/
I have not made my mind up if I am going . I have hunts booked for 2025 and 2026 state side. Not sure what to do in 2027, alaska or africa and if its to far out to book yet?
Not too early to book in 2027 in a lot of cases. I checked on a couple of Alaska hunts at SCI the last couple of days and was shocked by the costs. I hunted up there and 2008 and 2010 and prices for similar hunts now are 3-4 times what they were then. I know we have had lots of inflation the last couple of years but still made me glad I had hunted up there when I did. Good luck in whatever you decide to go after.

I go every year without fail.

I’m going for the first time this year! Is there anything I should look for or any vendors I should swing by? (Interested in another safari, and possibly western US elk/bear hunt)

FYI - at the SCI Convention a couple of weeks ago, some of the North American bighorn sheep outfitters are already taking deposits for hunts in 2029 and cannot guarantee the quoted prices.

Demand is exponentially outweighing supply for those hunts and prices are rising faster than the ink can dry!

Also, some African outfitters are already booking into 2029 for such species as LDE. Good luck and happy hunting, TheGrayRider a/k/a Tom.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
