Winchester 308 that was left by a friend of mine and I do not know what to do with it I would like to get rid of it I have the house and they don't want to keep it and I do not hand this platform was suggested for me to sell it to people who know what to do with them and we'll keep it safe

Scope looks like a Burris (Fullfield maybe?). The Rifle may be a Browning ABolt? It appears to have that A-bolt "squashed" bolt handle. Potentially in a different laminate stock... (Boyd's?)

Nevermind. Savage Axis in a boyds laminate stock. Magazine and bolt release seem to be identical to the Axis. If it is, unfortunately, it's not going to be terribly valuable, but a good starter rifle for someone!

Are you based in Africa ? That’s a box of South African ProAmm African Elite cartridges which I see.

Unfortunate phraseology in the title....

Most gun shops will take it in on consignment. They will handle everything for you for a small percentage of what they sell it for.

If by chance this rifle is in fact in RSA. He will need to proceed very carefully since the rifle may be unllicensed.

I also see that he is a nee member.

I know nothing about Zambia possession and license issues. I assume they run along the lines of Zimbabwe.

If the firearm does not have a license it is worthless. I have had to walk away from some fantastic firearms do to the fact the owner had no license.

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
