Mighty tasty.

Awesome! Where?

Looking at the clues. I’m guessing Southern California. It’s hard to beat tune for fun and eating

My buddy caught his first tuna and they had him take a bite of the heart. Is that a thing or were they pulling his leg?

That was at the ridge down in Baja Mexico. About 160 miles from Alijos rocks. If you go from mag bay out. That’s the ridge.

What boat are you on I do a 7-10 day trip out of San Diego every year! This year I only did a 4 days trip.

The deck looks like a slaughter house, well done!

I love tuna, we get a lot of yellowfin and black fin on occasion we see some bluefin here in the northern Gulf but I would have to say that wahoo are my favorite.

Fishing is the next best after hunting. I think…
Yes sir, I couldn’t agree more. I get seasick and still go on long range fishing trips. The only thing I hate about them now is most boats are adding Wi-Fi!

I’ve always been curious about those long range trips out of San Diego, can you legally clean your fish at sea or only gut and do they have freezers on board or just a shit ton of ice and an ice maker?

No boat will allow you to clean your own fish on the boat. They have holding tanks with chilled sea water and they add salt to it. Not sure what that system is called. But once the boat gets back to dock, they have several fish processing companies waiting there for you or you can take your fish's whole home to process. My last 10 day trip I ended up 414lbs of filets!

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
